Description
Schwabe Chininum Sulphuricum (Trituration) (20 GM)
It is used in intermittent fever or fever having a certain periodicity. In lower attenuation, it is useful in fever with chills. It has an undoubtful influence over malaria because of mutation and drug-resistant type.
It is indicated wherever the periodicity is accompanied by spinal sensitiveness. As a consequence, it is also useful in pain in the joints and congested conditions of veins (Varicose or rectobulbar neuritis or thread-like prominent blood vessels in the legs).
In higher attenuation, it has been used in Meniere’s vertigo and suppurative nephritis. Prolonged use of 3x potency may lead to headache, nausea, abdominal pain, or diarrhoea. Some people sensitive to quinine may develop urticaria or flushing of the skin.
